There is no end to violence in Iraq! Yesterday 150 people have lost lives. Coalition forces have a responsibility to keep Iraq safe because they are the ones who created the existing situation. Iraq was a peaceful country before the war. Saddam Hussein’s ouster could have been good for Iraq but what the country got in return is chaos.
During the discussions at UN before the war, almost every country on earth supported continuing the arms inspection and completing it before deciding on a further course of action; but it was the United States, which could not have waited.
Every country would like to retain their sovereignty. Even if a country has a bad leader, they do not want another county to invade them. Thus, first America has to agree that they have a problem in Iraq. Next, they have to strengthen the security of that country using that country’s resources and exit fast.
