Global village visit going to cost money.

Dubai’s popular Global Village which is part of the Dubai Shopping festival will have to be paid for entry from now onwards.

The fee will be Dirhams three per person and there will be a group ticket priced at Dh15 for a family of six. Global village is hugely popular and on most days it will be heavily packed with visitors. This year, the Global Village will be also open for an extended period of 129 days until March 3, 2006.

However, those who visit can find solace that although they have to pay, they will also have a chance to win Dh10,000 in vouchers in a weekly draw for shopping in the Global Village.
