Writing final year exam, Syllabus of BA 1st year.

Asha J: Writing final year exam:
Can you please tell whether a third year student can write first year’s main paper? Actually my friend got only 33 marks for main paper and due to some reason wasn’t able to do improvement. Can u please tell whether she can write it in final yr. what’s the pass mark for first yr main paper?

I am in Cochin. Can you tell me the Syllabus of BA 1st year and where can I find the text books?

I have passed 1st year. Second year, I failed two papers and the final year five. Then I came to Palakkad dt, in palakkad, there are no kerala university centres. Please tell me a way to complete the course in kerala or any other university.

I would like to know the following information. I was an MA economics student in an affiliated colleges of calicut university during 1997-1999. I appeared for 1st year and second year MA examination together in 1999. I cleared all the subjects of second year, but I failed in one subject of first year. I understand that I will have to write all the subjects of first year and passout in order to complete the course. Unfortunately it has been a long time and syllabus has been changed. If I wish to write the exam in next year, how do I proceed? Do I need to give both first year and second year MA exam in the new syllabus OR just first year MA exam in the new syllabus? Please let me know. It will be really grateful.

I was a regular student of B.A. degree in Z.G. college. I passed all the subsidiary papers and main papers of 1st and 2nd year and part 1 and part 1. Now I wish to complete the course. I have completed btech from Kannur University in ECE (2008). I came across the news in the Mathrubhumi daily regarding the job fair published on 29th October 2008. I would like to know whether this job fair is being conducted only for those candidate who have completed their course under Calicut University and if I am eligible to attend the job fair I would like to know about the list of companies that will be participating in the fair.

BCom three year degree course for a handicap student:

RAMANATHAN IYER : BCom  3 year degree course for a handicap student:
My son has passed theBA / BCom Open stream entrance examination conducted by the Calicut university and already sent the application form along with the relevant fees to continue the BCom degree course. In turn his centre has been selected as Trichur. Accordingly his contact class centre also at Trichur.

In this regard, I would like to know, my son having some handicap problem, so can we have the private tuition at home and make him ready for Examination from time to time, or is it essential to attend the contact class regularly? Since we are staying very far from Trichur, (approximately 5 hours journey  from our place).Can you please give the valuable advise at such  situations? Otherwise we have to look for an accomodation facility at Trichur and board him there because it will be very difficult for my son to travel due to his  problem. However, all the course book and other details are awaited from the university. Looking forward to receive your kind guidelines.

I have passed BSc statistics from Sir Syed College, Taliparamba, Calicut University in 1984. I lost first and second year mark list. Can I get copies of the mark list now?

Smiji .S : How to change the address given in the original degree certificate application form
I am Smiji. I applied for my Degree Original Certificate in the year 2007 November. I passed out my Degree in BCom from Sree Narayana College, Alathur, Palakkad, under Calicut University. I gave my home address at Palakkad in that application form, but now I got married and am settled in bangalore. The problem is that there is no one in my home at Palakkad and it is sold. So now I want my original certificate sent to Bangalore address.

Could you please tell me the formalities for changing the address from palakkad to bangalore and the amount of fees to be remitted and when  and how. I would like to also know when will I get my original certificate.

I would like to know the procedure for applying for consolidate mark list for all semesters of BTech from MG university and also what all documents should be submitted along with the application.

Recruitment of assistant grad II

Nisha : I want to know about the recruitment of assistant grad II. Interview was conducted one year ago.

My name is Chandralekha right now I am in delhi. I have failed the Bcom 2004 examination. If I want to get a duplicate of my mark list, what is the procedure to get it? Can I view my mark list anywhere in the website by providing the registration number?

I have attended for the 1999 september supplementary examinations for physics and statistics as a private candidate my regular reg no was  31780. My supplementary reg no 90005. I have come to know from christ collage where I have written my exams. They sent back the result to the university the folio is 17.7. 2002 second Bsc sep 99 NO 8/2002/UE/I/II/IIIBsc. Is there any possibility to get my results?

Unfinished BA Economics Course

Krishna Kumar : Unfinished BA Economics Course
Though I have completed BA Economics (Calicut University (from 1985-1988, I did not get pass marks for Part I English. Due to family problems, I could not pursue my studies then and my gradation still remains an unfinished dream. Is it possible for me to give Part I English exam (new syllabus) now and complete the degree OR do I have to appear for all Part I, II and III exams. Is there any centre to give exams in Muscat for the Calicut University exams? If anyone can help me with details, shall be grateful.

BCom Degree, Original Degree Certificate

I was registered for BCom in 2002 as a private Student. Due to my illness, I could not finish the course. Can I continue on that registration? I registered for second year exam but did not attend. Now I wish to continue, what can I do?

I would like to join Bcom in Abu Dhabi centre but I didn't pass pre-degree so I have to write entrance examination. In July I will be in kerala on my vacation. If I write entrance examination from kerala, can I continue studies in Abudhabi? Kindly advise?

I am 2005 passed out batch from NSS College of Engg., palakkad from EEE department. I have applied for original degree certificate in February 2006 (paid extra to receive within six months) after clearing a supplementary paper of seventh semester (control system II ) but not yet received my degree certificate even after two years, due to which I am facing difficulties in applying govt. jobs. Now I seek your help to take steps to receive my degree certificate as soon as possible. Kindly look into the matter personally and take required action.
